Tongkarn Kaewchalermtong Ph.D. is a distinguished expert in intelligent transport systems  (ITS), civil engineering, and policy development with extensive experience in academia,  government, and international organizations. He serves as a lecturer at the Civil  Engineering Department, Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, and is the President of  ITS Thailand. Dr.Kaewchalermtong is also Chairman of the Transportation and Logistics  Working Group at the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO) and an  Associate Judge at the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court. His contributions extend globally as a member of the International Program Committee for  the ITS World Congress and the Board of Directors of the ITS Asia-Pacific Forum.  Domestically, he plays a key role in advancing engineering standards as Vice President of  the Intelligent CCTV Association (iCA), a chairperson of foreign affairs committee, Thai  Railway Engineering Association (TREA) and through his work in Building Information  Modeling (BIM) with the Engineering Institute of Thailand. He also serves as the expert in  Defense Policy and Engineering, Defense Technology Institute (DTI). Previously, Dr.Kaewchalermtong held advisory roles with UNESCAP and the National  Innovation Agency (NIA). His leadership and innovative contributions to ITS, defense  policy, and sustainable development continue to shape transportation and logistics in  ASEAN and beyond
